It's been awhile since my last 'dorphin post - from Charleston SC. With 400+ miles of
sailing travels...I'll admit, my activity level has fallen. Finally an opportunity for serious dorphins. Taking advantage of a Florida day in Ft. Pierce, with southerly winds and temperatures in the 60's - it was time to dust off my good friend Ms. Madone (racing bike) - and take her for a spin.
I quickly discovered
- Ms. Madone does not like sand
- Ms. Madone is a LOT slower than she used to be
(oops - maybe that's me??)
Some road hazards unique to the Fort Pierce Inlet State Park include:
1. roaming Bobcats
2. slow moving turtles
3. lizards
